How to: Flash a Custom Recovery with Android Terminal Emulator (For Root Users Only)

This video demonstrates how to flash a custom recovery image onto your android device without having to connect the device to a computer. Please keep in mind that this is for fully rooted phones only and some ROMs may not support the "flash_image" command. I know from personal experience that the stock HTC Sense Roms do not support that command. Having said that, every AOSP based ROM seems to support this method. In the event that the ROM you're using does not support this method, you may have to use fastboot in order to flash the recovery. Obviously ROM manager is the easiest way to flash a custom recovery, however, if you wanted to flash something other than the recoveries supported by Clockworkmod, then this or fastboot would be your best bet.
